Yamaha Asian Beat Semi Finals Sunday, Nov 25 2007

Okay, this post is a day late because i was just too lazy to update.

I went for Yamaha Asian Beat Semi Finals 2007 held at DXO yesterday. Was my very first time there at DXO , and i’m quite honoured (shall explained why later.)

I asked practically every single one of my friends out yesterday, but none of them are free. Yeah , i badly wanted to go for this event- mainly because i like seeing bands jam together and we’ll get to see more local talent. Hmm, secondly because my boy is helping out with the audio and technical stuff for the day ..

But yeah. No one’s free yesterday. I almost wanted to give up and just go alone. Call me kiam siap or whatever , but i dont see why i must pay $18 for the event , and yet the grand finals is free. Weird right? Semi Finals $18 , Grand Finals Free. Haha.

Count my blessings. Remember , i’m an ex-staff of Yamaha. Hahaha. In the end , Herbert managed to squeeze my name in for DXO’s guest list for this event, thanks to my boy. That explains why i’m so honoured in the end. I went up to the highly suspicious bouncer at first , told him my name,  got a tag from them , and there , i’m in!

Saw a few familiar faces. Gerald of course , there’s Shern , Leroy and the executives like Jay , Herbert , Simon and Dennis. The rest i dont really know where they’re from either. =X

As for the band contestants , i’m only familiar with Hellven , as i’ve seen their performance at dunno-which Matsuri before , in 2006. Very Jrock  , i like.  Glad they made it to the finals. There were a few other groups that made an impression on me as well , and i thought i saw Moo-Z around …. Hmm.

Oh well , i really gotta thank Herbert for this chance. Arigato Gozaimasu~!

I’m so in love with this

 

It’s $3995, mind you. Not $39.95.

The first time i saw this was in this issue of CLEO’s magazine , where they introduced to their readers all sorts of designers’ bags , and how we must equipped ourselves with enough knowledge before buying or making a high purchase.

This bag was also featured , and its bright purple colour immediately caught my eye. I saw it again on facebook, where we have this application called ‘ My Fab Bag’, i was being quite bo liao since i got nothing to do. My previous ‘Fab Bag’ was a Marc Jacobs one , and after much scouting , i saw this Mulberry’s Purple Ostrich Bag.

Damn it , of course i have to get my hands on it. Online only, that is.

P.S: I dont mind an early X’mas Prezzie. LALALALA~

Ache Friday, Nov 23 2007

Yesterday evening i felt better, but today i’m like sick again. This time round , Western medicine doesnt seem to work for me. I turned to Chinese medicine now. Ever heard of po chai pills? I used to take them whenever i had diarrhoea or headache. I hope it works this time, cos i’m sick of having stomach aches.

Back to yesterday, had dinner with my sis and dad. It’s been a long time since i last sat down and ate with him. We had a ‘Seoul-Garden-Lookalike’ kind of barbecue at Simei. Food was okay , but price wasn’t worth it lah. And not to mention , we smelled like we worked there after eating there. =X

Went to Pet Safari. Still considering whether to get Rabbits or Hamsters as they are both equally cute. (: Saw a few cute puppies , but nah…. i doubt i have the patience and the kindness. LOL. Took a few photos but lazy to upload.

I went to Parkway alone after that. Shopped abit , bought a pair of shoes which is more suitable for work. Felt damn nua after that , so i bought some pastries and went up to Dear’s house although he’s at work. hurhurhurhur. But i left early though. coughscoughsishouldhavejustslepttillthenextmorningcoughs (:

It sucks being sick. And to double it up , i’m having cramps as well.

Okay, i’m irritated because wordpress is really slow today. This is my fourth or fifth time logging in , and finally i’m able to login to this page.

Finding a new blog server to blog , but i feel that either the page is forever lagging , or the skins are super limited. Ohwells, guess i’m still stuck here.

Past few days really very lazy to blog lah. =X

Met up with the fishy gang that day, had steamboat , walked around and we took lots of pictures!

Went to food expo with Dear and his mum yesterday. Bought so many food stuffs. Stoned and rested at his house after that.

My stomach has been in a really bad shape since 3 days ago. Head is spinning , and last night i felt so cold i wore thick socks to bed. My body is really weird these few days.. Gonna have to see a doctor if this carries on.

Okay, shall go rest!

I’m like so free now , i can go to anywhere i want without thinking of whether there’s enough time..

But i dont really have the $$$!!!

Shucks man. This is the best time to just shop and shop and shop until i piak on the ground. It’s so hard to enjoy life , and at the same time , you have to think about your pocket.

I want to dye my hair today , i mean i’ve been wanting to dye it for weeks , but decided to wait till the panel assessment is over (it’s finally over, btw). My colour is really fading , and i dislike half brownish and half blackish colour near my scalp. Dont care, shall do it today! Hahaha~ But another 100 bucks or so gone. =.=”

Grocery Shopping Monday, Nov 12 2007

Is it just me or there’s something wrong with the system?

Every wordpress blog i go to , it either hangs or it doesn’t respond. I’m getting slightly irritated by it because it has been happening for the past 3 days. And sometimes , it makes me even more infuriated when it hangs, and the computer auto shuts down all browsers.

I cant even view my own blog , because it will also hang!

I slept at 7am , and the time now is 11am. God bless me, the Panel assessment is tomorrow. I skipped Marketing lesson today, because i stayed up the whole night to re-edit my boards. And really, it looks really better now. All i pray is i dont get shoot in the head or arse or anywhere tomorrow, few hours ahead of the time now.

And after that is freedom!

I went grocery shopping with my boy yesterday.

I felt so adult.

Oh btw, i still have to remind myself i have to go back to school at 7pm tonight. DAMN.
